Legal Aid

We can provide advice and representation under the Scottish Legal Aid Board’s Advice and Assistance Scheme and ABWOR (Advice by way of representation). Eligibility for these schemes is governed by the Scottish Legal Aid Board.
In order to qualify for Legal Aid, income and assets are taken into account and prospective applicants should refer to the Scottish Legal Aid Board’s website (www.slab.org.uk) or you can contact our office directly to discuss.

For those clients who do not qualify for funding from the Scottish Legal Aid Board, the cost of the initial diagnostic interview is £90.

Those clients who have a strong case may be offered representation by our office on the basis of a No Win No Fee Agreement ((please see attached a standard No Win No Fee Agreement).

If you are not eligible for Legal Aid or you fail to meet the criteria for representation on a No Win No Fee basis, we may be prepared to advise you and represent you at an Employment Tribunal Hearing on an agree fee basis. All options will be discussed with you before any costs are incurred.

The cost of any legal work undertaken on your behalf will be fully discussed with you prior to work being undertaken on your behalf.
